June 2020: Stern speaks in UCSF Coronavirus Symposium

On June 19 the Quantitative Biosciences Institute (QBI) at USCF hosted a virtual symposium on COVID-19 research. The QBI/UCSF Coronavirus Research Group Symposium highlighted the latest COVID-19 research both at QBI and across the world. The speakers ranged from the United States to Europe, Africa and South America.

 

The program included a talk by Dr. Adi Stern, Edmond J. Safra member (Life Sciences) titled "Full genome viral sequences inform patterns of SARS-CoV-2 spread into and within Israel". In her talk Dr. Stern presented her new study about tracing the spread of the pandemic in Israel.

 

Stern's work is done in collaboration with Amit Huppert (TAU Medicine). Both are supported by KBT grants and collaborate on COVID-19 with Berkeley researchers.
