KBT Inauguration at UCB
A new collaboration initiative was forged between the Center for Computational Biology at UC Berkeley (CCB) and the Edmond J. Safra Center for Bioinformatics at Tel Aviv University (TAU). The initiative is supported by a $5 million grant from the Koret Foundation.
On March 2018 the initiative was inaugurated publicly in the Bay Area. TAU President Prof. Joseph Klafter, and Koret Foundation President, Dr. Anita Friedman signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UC Berkeley Chancellor Prof. Carol T. Christ in an official ceremony on Berkeley’s campus.
